Festival of Media Global Awards 2026 Open for Entry

Festival of Media Global Awards launches three new categories and the Grand Prix accolade for Advertiser of the Year for its 2026 programme.

The three new categories are Best Publishing Band, the first time Festival has created a category just for media owners, Best Long-term Media Impact Award curated to showcase the relationship between agencies and their clients over a period of more than two years and Best Use of AI.

In another first in its 19-year history Festival of Media Global Awards is also adding an Advertiser/Brand of the Year Grand Prix to proceedings and this will celebrate the advertiser with the most shortlisted entries and trophy wins across the programme based on the points system employed for the other Grand Prix awards.

Last year’s winners set an impressive benchmark with PHD UK winning two Grand Prix accolades and Mindshare taking the other.

“We’ve listened to the industry once again and created three new categories in response to these and curated a team of influential brands and agencies from the region to adjudicate over the work and set the benchmarks for media around the world. We’ve also launched a new entry handbook, which provides key information on how to enter and most importantly to craft submissions,” said Leah Mellard, Awards Director at Festival of Media

Last year’s winners also saw the UK dominate the awards with more shortlistings and wins than its nearest rivals the US, Germany, Canada and India, while McDonald’s and Dove were the most lauded brands.

To help with submissions Festival of Media also offers workshops designed to help company’s looking for help and information on how to submit their work and what categories to submit into.
