Mayra is an experienced executive in the tech industry and one of the few senior Mexican women in this sector with over 28 years of experience in digital strategies. She is currently the Senior Vice President of Spanish Latin America at Teads, having previously held the position of General Director.
Her leadership has positioned Teads among the top digital advertising platforms for renowned global brands, demonstrating her ability to achieve effective and innovative results. Before Teads, she worked with leading tech brands such as Spotify, where she served in marketing roles as Account Director, and later at Google as Head of Industry for six years, followed by Microsoft, where she served as Sales Marketing Manager.
Mayra has been recognized by CEO magazine and was honored as one of the Women to Watch by Ad Age and AdLatina. She was also named one of the top CEOs by Merca2.0. As an advocate for social impact, Mayra Contreras also served as Director of Citizen Engagement at the organization Mexico SOS, where she implemented programs supporting the use of technology. She was also the co-host of the daily radio show “Informative Talks About Technology” with El Heraldo de México columnist, Carlos Mota.
