1. What did winning a Gold award at the M&M Global Awards mean to you and your team?
Honestly, it meant a lot. We all knew how strong the field was this year, so when Gold was announced, there was a real moment of: okay, this actually landed the way we hoped it would.
For us, it wasn’t just about the recognition itself. It was more the validation that the thinking behind the work held up on a global stage, judged by people who really understand media and effectiveness. That’s not something you take for granted.
And beyond the team feeling, it gave the campaign a visibility that’s hard to manufacture otherwise – internally, with clients, and in conversations where you want the work to speak for itself.
2. Why do you believe it is important for companies to enter the M&M Global Awards?
Because it’s one of the few awards that really keeps media thinking at the center. It’s not a side category or an afterthought – the whole thing is built around what great media work can do, and that’s rare.
What I find particularly valuable is the international lens. You’re not just benchmarking against your own market. You’re seeing how your work holds up against campaigns from completely different contexts, budgets and cultures. That’s a genuinely useful reality check.
And when you do win, it carries weight. Not just as a trophy on a shelf, but as something you can point to and say: this work was relevant and effective beyond our own backyard.
