Festival of Media APAC Awards Shortlist Announcement 2026 

Launched in 2011, this prestigious awards programme celebrates and benchmarks the best media work from Asia Pacific. Renowned for its rigorous judging process and esteemed juries, it is widely recognised as the region’s most important media awards programme.  

The five most shortlisted campaigns this year are ‘Colgate Oral Health Movement: India’s First National Dental-Checkup Drive’ (10) from Wavemaker India; ‘Coca-Cola Foodmarks Reloaded’ (5) by WPP Media Vietnam; ‘Coca-Cola – Sound of Home.FM’ (5) from WPP Media Philippines; ‘Red Label Natural Care – Immunity Ki Chuski (A Sip of Immunity)’ (5) by Mindshare India and ‘Uber Backseat Arcade’(5) from EssenceMediacom Australia.

India is leading the way geographically with three of the five most shortlisted agencies, Mindshare India, Wavemaker India, WPP OpenDoor India, closely followed by WPP Media Vietnam and Starcom Taiwan, completing this year’s most celebrated top five for shortlisting. Regionally at the forefront of the Asia-Pacific region, the countries with the highest number of shortlisted nominations are India, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Hong Kong. 

This year also sees the introduction of the inaugural ‘Advertiser of the Year’ Grand Prix, which will recognise the client with the most shortlisted entries and wins across the programme. Dominating the shortlist and putting themselves in a strong position for this honour are Colgate India, UltraTech Cement, Coca-Cola, IKEA, and Spotify. 

“This year we’ve welcomed a number of new clients into the awards programme from countries including Pakistan and Korea, as well as strong work from our returning customers, which will once again set the benchmarks for media across Asia Pacific. It should make for some lively discussions during the final round of judging next month,” said Leah Mellard, Awards Director, Festival of Media. 

This year the category attracting the highest number of shortlisted entries is Best Integrated Campaign, which will really test the juries.  

Our jury this year features clients from brands including Ford, Visa, Yum Brands, L’Oreal, Haleon, McDonald’s and Volvo, will now turn their attention to the final round and entering into discussions, deliberations and debates to decide who takes home the trophies.
