Once a reformed marketer, now a marketing reformer, Samuel is Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Purpose Hive, a growth strategy and solutions company placing humans and meaning at the center. Previously, he held global P&L leadership roles at P&G, Braun and Campbell’s across 20+ markets, marketing and commercial roles at Grainger and Safeway, and led Sales & Marketing at Sustainable Brands. His consulting work includes Toyota, Cisco and Elsevier.
Samuel speaks, writes and teaches about helping organizations thrive by bringing leadership, culture, brand, people and capability together. He co-hosts the Marketing Transformed podcast, has taught Brand Strategy as an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University, and has served on nonprofit boards.
A Brit of Ghanaian heritage, Samuel has lived in Germany and Switzerland and now calls the NYC area home. Outside work, you’ll usually find him at a live music gig, drawn to artists and songwriters for their remarkable ability to help us feel, reflect and connect. And through thick and thin, he remains a proud supporter of the mighty Manchester United FC.
