For over 15 years, Brianne Boles-Marshall has been a noteworthy leader in the media/marketing industry, leading strategy and spearheading initiatives that help companies better realize the growth opportunities made possible by authentic outreach to growth audiences.
In her current role as Responsible Media Lead at General Motors, Brianne Boles-Marshall champions the intersection of media effectiveness and positive societal impact, ensuring media strategies drive business results while contributing to a better world. This role combines strategic thinking with a commitment to sustainability and accountability in media practices that promote transparency, environmental mindfulness, inclusion and representation, outcome-based measurement solutions and data & privacy compliance.
In addition to her role at GM, Brianne also a graduate (c/o 2024) of The Black Executive CMO Alliance’s Future Leaders program, which further prepares Black marketers for corporate and community leadership. She is also a part of the AIMM (ANA) steering committee, ANA’s Diverse Media initiatives, a Board member of BRIDGE, a 2024 inductee in the Advancing Diversity Hall of Honors, a 2025 recipient of the Heroes of Media award, and a 2025 inductee of the U.S. Black Chambers of Commerce Power 50 Women of Influence. She has also been selected to participate as a judge for industry award selection committees, training institutes and she contributed to published works by the ANA on diverse media investment. A native of Flint, Michigan, Brianne earned her MBA from Wayne State University and her bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
