Indeed’s mission is to connect people to better work that leads to better lives. To enact change, they launched Rising Voices, investing $100,000 each in 10 aspiring BIPOC filmmakers to produce work-related films.
Season One succeeded, but Season Two faced new challenges amidst the “great resignation” and increased competition.
Our objectives: springboard the filmmakers’ careers, create a more equitable film industry by generating jobs and building their networks, and demonstrate to other industries how expanding opportunities benefits workers and workplaces.
With declining unaided consideration, the aim was also to uplift Indeed’s the brand.
We had to broadcast over 100 hours of original content from the filmmakers — standard media would not do the trick.
