The Festival of Media Latin America Awards has officially opened for entries for its 17th edition, once again inviting the sector to showcase the work setting the benchmark for excellence across the Latin America Region.
Launched in 2010, the awards programme is lauded for its rigorous judging process and esteemed juries ensuring it continues to set industry standards and benchmarks year after year and that the best work from Latin America is amplified on the global stage via Festival of Media’s channels and standing around the world.
Following its successful introduction in 2025, the Advertiser of the Year award returns to spotlight the clients’ fantastic work. Last year saw the Argentine bank ICBC take home the inaugural title, raising the bar for brands across the region. The question for 2026 is simple: which brand will follow in their footsteps?
Winning the other Grand Prix’s last year was PHD named Agency Network of the Year, while Centralia Media & Content took home Agency of the Year and ‘EstibADores’, entered by OMD Peru, was awarded Campaign of the Year.
This year’s iteration of the programme – after lots of discussions with the sector – sees two new categories: Best Local Brand Campaign and Best Use of AI. T
Building on the success of the Festival of Media Global Awards and the M&M Global Awards, the Latin America programme will also have its own AI powered FOM Latam Entry Navigation tool. This pioneering platform is designed to streamline the submission process, enabling entrants to upload their campaigns, ask questions and receive tailored recommendations on the most relevant categories, helping to maximise their chances of success. In our Global programme more than 60% of the recommendations from the tool have resulted in a shortlisting.
