Fans were so used to staying at home that many had forgotten how much going out can elevate the fan experience. This was bad news for sports fans and bad news for sports bars.
The 2023 NHL Playoffs were coming and we wanted to remind fans that watching the game at Boston Pizza, Canada’s #1 sports bar, would always be the next best thing to the arena and the sports fan’s best viewing experience.
Our objective was to get the Boston Pizza brand into the cultural conversation and get fans into Boston Pizza restaurants, so they could elevate their sports fan game, try the new Boston Pizza playoff menu and boost sales.”
