Ricardo joined Pepsico in May 2017 with the mission to accelerate the Nutrition business performance in Latin America by leveraging his extensive business and brand leadership background as well as his passion for growing brands through purposeful positioning and positive social impact.
Prior to joining Pepsico Ricardo developed his career at Unilever where he led global brands with a focus on driving competitive top and bottom line growth. He was Global Vice-President for Vaseline and Lifebuoy, responsible for all aspects of brand positioning, innovation, communication and business performance across the world with a special focus in North America and Asia.
Before that Ricardo ran the Skin and Deodorants categories in Latin America, driving business performance through brands like Dove, Axe, Rexona and Lux. Over his career he had different international assignments in Argentina, Chile and USA apart from his native Brazil.
Ricardo is a board member of Saving Promise, a NGO committed to fighting domestic violence in the USA. He lives in the NY metro area with his wife Alejandra and two children, Daniel and Clara.
