Poliana, born in Cuiabá, Brazil has been with P&G for over 17 years where she has gone through different local and international roles and business units. She began her career at the company headquarters in Cincinnati as a Business Analyst in the Hair Care business unit, right after graduating with honors and an International Certificate and Business degree in Marketing and MIS from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. She also has an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked for P&G in the US and Puerto Rico, before relocating back to Brazil in 2009.
Back in Brazil, she has managed most of P&G main brands including Gillette, Koleston, and Pampers. Before taking on her current role as the Brazil Marketing, Communications and Media Director, she successfully managed Oral-B and Duracell with strong business turnaround results. In her career, she was responsible for remarkable marketing initiatives in Brazil including a Brazilian iconic brunette transformation with Koleston and most recently leading the Thank you Mom campaign Brazil strategy development and execution during the Rio2016 Olympics.
The executive is responsible for a team of 70 people and reports to Alberto Carvalho, P&G Brazil President.
