Pedro Castro (@pitcastro) is responsible for the marketing strategy and events focused on sales growth and generation of new business opportunities for Twitter in Latin America.
He has an over 8 years solid experience in integral marketing. Before joining Twitter he worked as Digital Marketing Manager at HSBC for Latin America, where he was responsible for the establishment and growth of the digital area, in addition to positioning the bank as a leader in social networks of financial vertical in Mexico. During his stay he received several recognitions, including Monsters of Marketing in 2015 by the magazine Expansión.
He was previously responsible for the Marketing area for Fintech Resuelve in Mexico and Colombia, as well as head of the commercial and marketing area in the ETASA Group in Mexico and North America. He has a degree in International Business and has a Master’s Degree in Innovation and Development, both degrees from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
