Mike has a wealth of experience in the media and entertainment industry with a strong background in the video game industry beginning over a decade ago as one of the first members of the team that built the revolutionary online gaming service Xbox Live (his gamertag is “Mike”). More recently, at Xbox, he was on the team that conceived and built out the Xbox Live Apps platform and ecosystem where he helped bring Twitch.tv to the Xbox platform. Mike is now on the Twitch.tv team where he is creating the global monetization/advertising business for this amazing eSport live-streaming media service that boasts over 100 million viewers. Twitch.tv is the place to find millennials males who consume over an hour of live streaming content per day.
Prior to Twitch, Mike was the VP of Product Strategy at Ratio which builds OTT (Over the Top TV) tech as well as custom applications for world-class publishers such as Disney, Fox, Hulu, HBO, iHeart Radio, Ellation (Crunchyroll, Creativebug), Sinclair Broadcasting, Lionsgate/Tribeca, Crackle, Yahoo!, Red Bull and many more on platforms including Playstation, Xbox, Roku, iOS and Android.
