Marco Botero (@mabot) is responsible for envisioning and driving digital advertising strategies that extend across Latin America from Twitter’s offices in Miami, Florida. A seasoned entertainment executive with a global perspective, Marco Botero joined Twitter from ESPN, where he was responsible for designing the regional advertising strategy across ESPN’s portfolio of assets and oversaw the entire digital sales team from a regional perspective as Director of Strategy & Digital Sales.
Previously, Marco was an Account Executive within the Sony Pictures Television (SPT) networks group. He was responsible for creating brand driven initiatives within SPT’s portfolio of cable networks in the region that included Sony Entertainment Television, AXN, Sony Spin, E! Entertainment, A&E, The History Channel, MGM and Casa Club. Marco was at SPT for nearly eight years where he worked throughout various divisions within the company such as marketing, research, networks, and distribution.
