Marcia Esteves joined Grey in March 2014 with the purpose of transforming people’s lives and making the world a better place to live, through communications. In August 2015 she assumed the operation of the agency, leading client services, planning, media and project teams. In January 2017 she assumed the agency co-presidence.
She started her career at Fischer America in 2001, before going to In 2002 she joined Rapp Brazil, to develop clients in Brazil and across Latin America, where she stayed until 2010. During this period, she has also worked at Barcelona’s office, where she was able to understand the communication complexities among world’s regions. Back to Brazil, has implemented a digital operation for PepsiCo across Latin America. In 2011 she moved to Wunderman Brazil, to structure and lead the Consumer Goods clients of the agency, such as Danone & P&G. Two years later, she joined Leo Burnett Tailor Made, with the challenge of integrating the digital culture across all areas of the agency and also pitching all clients seeking for digital opportunities. There she participated in more than 8 pitches in one year, integrating accounts such as Samsung, Disney, Brasil Kirim and P&G.
During her career, she has been directly involved in projects that resulted in important awards (15 Cannes Lions, 4 Effies, 7 ABEMD, LatAm Media Festival, DMA-ECHO Award!,Portada’s Latin American Advertising and Media Awards).
Marcia Esteves initiated her studies at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) Brazil, getting her first Master Degree in Advertising in 2003. The title of Marketing Specialist, from the Instituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Milan, Italy, came in 2004. She completed her MBA in Strategic and Economic Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, (FGV), Brazil in 2007. In 2009 she reinforced her studies Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Babson Executive Business Center – Omnicom University – Boston – U.S.A. In 2014 she completed her studies on the Digital Acceleration Master Class – Hyper Island – Brazil.
Half Portuguese, half Brazilian, Marcia was born in São Paulo (Brazil) and has lived in several countries: Australia, United States, Italy and Spain, becoming a world citizen, studying and learning with different cultures and its communication nuances.
She lives her purpose at Grey, connecting brands with human real needs, leading a Famously Effective agency.
