Luciana Resende Lotze serves as Regional Head of Marketing for Latin America and the Caribbean at Visa, Inc. She oversees the team responsible for delivering marketing strategies and plans to develop the brand, delight consumers and grow Visa’s and our clients businesses across the 44 countries of the region. In this role, Luciana also directs Visa’s marketing efforts for two of the world’s biggest sporting events: the World Cup and the Olympics.
With more than 20 years of experience, Luciana has worked directly with Latin America and the Caribbean and other complex emerging markets including Africa and Asia in global roles. Over the course of her career, she developed strong skills in brand development, digital marketing, consumer understanding, performance marketing and Big Data.
Before joining Visa in 2017, Luciana worked briefly at Stanley Black & Decker as Commercial Vice President for Latin America. Prior to this she was Chief Marketing Officer at Millicom International Services, where she transformed the marketing function and Tigo brand across countries in Latin America and Africa. Luciana started her career at Procter & Gamble where she worked for 14 years in a variety of local, regional and global roles leading brands in different categories including Fabric & Home Care, Fine Fragrances and Hair Care.
During her career Luciana has earned 3 Cannes Lions, 5 Gold Effies including a Grand Effie, and 2 Clios awards among others.
Luciana holds a bachelor’s degree in food engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Brazil.
