Vice President of Property & Commercial Development at Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing
Camilo Durana is the Vice President of Property & Commercial Development at Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing, overseeing the management of property partnerships, including U.S. Soccer, the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol, CONCACAF and the recent Copa America Centenario. His department also spearheads the development of commercial solutions for MLS/SUM sponsors and has worked to broaden the organization’s commercial insights and sponsorship measurement capabilities.
Prior to joining MLS/SUM, he served as the Global Director of Budweiser Sports and Entertainment at ABInBev, overseeing the development and implementation of several of the brand’s global campaigns. Programs included the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, the FA Cup, the National Football League and the launch of the brand’s first global music program. Working in conjunction with Vice, Roc Nation and Fox Sports, he developed several international content series for Budweiser, including Rise as One, MADE Underground and Rihanna’s Half of Me, which were distributed in over 80 countries. He began his career with Velocity Sports & Entertainment and Octagon Worldwide, consulting for corporate clients in the United States and Latin America.
A native of Colombia, Camilo currently lives in New York City and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he attended as a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
