Director, Corporate Citizenship & Brand Management, The Walt Disney Company Latin America
Belén Urbaneja is the Director of Corporate Citizenship and Brand Management for The Walt Disney Company Latin America. As Director of Corporate Citizenship she is in charge of the development and implementation of the sustainable management strategy in the region, relations with the community and social investment concerning protection of the environment, healthy living promotion, creativity, innovation and the safe and positive use of technology.
As Director of Brand Management she works to enhance the growth and reputation of Disney brands in the region and ensure that the Company´s business strategies pursue the highest standards and promote the well-being of kids.
She has been head of Brand Management since 2015, when she participated in the startup of the region’s sustainability strategy and lead the launch of the corporate volunteers program at Latin American offices.
Belén began working for Disney in 1996. Prior to her current role, she worked as Manager of Corporate Alliances and Corporate Marketing and contributed to the Company’s integration project in 2000.
She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and got her Lawyer’s degree at Universidad de Buenos Aires. Later on, she obtained a postgraduate degree on Human Resources Management at Universidad de Belgrano; and besides completing various training programs and courses in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, was awarded a certificate from the Boston College Center of Corporate Citizenship at the Carroll School of Management.
