Andres Polo is Vice President of Digital Marketing for Visa Inc., Latin America and the Caribbean Region.
In his current role, he is responsible for driving the evolution of global consumer digital, social media and mobile strategies. Polo also leads the cross functional collaboration among global, regional and country marketing teams with key internal stakeholders (IT, legal, products, sponsorships and corporate communications) and external audiences such as media and other relevant influencers.
During his 15 years of experience working for Visa, he has held several positions, starting as Web Content Manager. After 7 years in this role, he became Business Leader of Digital Marketing, focusing his team’s efforts on delivering best in class digital, social, local and mobile marketing solutions to advance the regional and in-country business objectives for Visa in the region.
Prior to joining Visa, he was a partner in a digital agency serving companies in the United States and Latin America.
Andres Polo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida International University. In 2005, he received the Visa Gold Star, as recognition for extraordinary contributions and efforts relative to Visa’s mission values and competencies, he was also awarded with the Visa Innovation Idea of the Year in 2006 and holds a US patent for his work on the Digital Concierge Application.
