Theo Theodorou is General Manager for GroundTruth EMEA. He was responsible for launching GroundTruth into the region during March 2014, and has since overseen rapid market and revenue growth across the territory, solidifying GroundTruth’s reputation as the global location leader in driving in-store visits and sales by leveraging location as the primary source of intent.
Throughout his 24-year media career, Theo has been at the forefront of some of the biggest and most innovative projects of their time. He was an instrumental part of the 2010 European iAd launch team at Apple, where he built the business development organisation working on innovative partnerships across some of the worlds’ most eminent brands. At mobile advertising network ScreenTonic in 2006 (subsequently acquired by Microsoft), he was responsible for the first mobile adverts to appear on the Orange network.
Theo is a regularly invited to speak at events across the world, and is widely regarded as an industry expert across topics such as marketing, communication strategy, advertising technology and of course location. He was voted 11th in The Drum’s UK Mobile Influencer list in 2015, and sits on the board of the IAB UK and the executive committee of the MMA.
