Ian’s marketing credentials are slightly unusual, but hopefully all the more useful because of them.
He cut his teeth at OMD, the media agency where, over a 14-year tenure, he was responsible for leading domestic and global accounts including Shop Direct Group, Vodafone, McDonald’s, Hilton and easyJet.
In 2013 he jumped the fence and joined easyJet early in its period of customer-centric driven growth. He initially headed up Marketing & Brand, with responsibility for all creative, media and brand activity across Europe. He later added P&L accountability for easyJet’s In-Flight retail business. In 2017 he was promoted to Customer Director where he led CX, Customer Services, Distribution and Sales.
In November 2018, Ian became the Global Performance Marketing Director at Just Eat, the leading global takeaway food business. His remit at Just Eat includes global media, CRM, Data Platforms, Content Management and SEO.
