Fairmont Le Montreux Palace - 5*
This is Montreux's premier address and
will be our main hotel for the Festival.
The Fairmont Le Montreux Palace is located right next to the
Festival of Media site and overlooks the lake with most of the
rooms offering suitably spectacular views to the mountains
beyond. It's a 5-star property and is within easy walking
distance of all the main festival venues. The hotel was built in
1906 and hence has a very traditional and elegant feel. All guest
rooms have a full range of modern amenities including wi-fi
connection, flat screen televisions and air conditioning but they
all keep their elegant, traditional charm. The hotel has 3
restaurants, 2 bars, a nightclub and a spa to relax in, making it a

Royal Plaza Montreux & Spa - 5*
The Royal Plaza Hotel is again
adjacent to the Festival of Media site. It is also a 5-star
property with 70% of the guest rooms having fantastic lake
views.
The rooms themselves are contemporary, elegant and well equipped
for the business traveller but we think it's fair to say, less
opulent than the Montreux Palace. They all have wi-fi, flat
screen TV safe, minibar and air-conditioning.
Like most properties in Montreux The Royal Plaza has a stunning
restaurant overlooking the lake and a fabulous bar on the lakeshore

The Grand Hotel Suisse-Majestic - 4*
This charming property is
a traditional Swiss styled 4-star property located a short 5-minute
walk to the Festival of Media site it is positioned near the shops
and train station of Montreux, yet still with lake and mountain
views.
The hotel was originally built in 1870 and has recently
undergone a complete renovation, which was completed in May
2010.
The hotel has kept its traditional feel but with a modern
twist. The bedrooms are spacious and individually decorated with

Hotel Eden Palace Au Lac - 4*
This excellent 4-star
property is a short stroll from the Festival of Media site, which
is about 10-minutes along the beautiful lake path.
It has one of the most favourable positions in Montreux located
directly on a little promontory jutting into the lake. The
international buffet restaurant has panoramic views of the lake
itself and the hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool, sauna,
fitness centre and lounge bar.
All guest rooms are well presented and most have views along the

Eurotel Riviera - 4*
The Eurotel Riviera is a 4-star tower
property within very easy walking distance of the Festival of Media
site and also right on the waters edge. All of the rooms have lake
views, which is a real selling point for the hotel. The rooms are
simply but stylishly furnished and have internet connections, flat
screen TV and mini bar. Again the hotels restaurant is located on
the terrace over looking the lake.
