Jeff Kwek joined Tencent in 2007 as head of
branding and was tasked with developing and implementing a
corporate branding strategy for
Tencent. Prior to joining Tencent, Jeff held
senior management positions at BBDO, Ogilvy and
McCann-Erickson.
Jeff Kwek is a
seasoned professional in media and marketing
and has worked in China the last 6
years.
In mid-2007, Jeff
Kwek developed Tencent MIND, an online branding methodology
that was named "Best Online Marketing
Practices" by the China Advertising Association. Under
his leadership, Tencent is now
ranked the 7th
most valuable brand in the Top 50
Brand China Award conducted by
Forbes/Interbrand.
Jeff is responsible
for the publishing of a book entitled: "Virtual World, Real Trust::
Understanding online behaviours In China."
He has spoken at various
marketing events like AdTech, Cannes and China Connect and has
completed the Asian-International Executive Program from
Insead.
